Trained, qualified, and grounded in hands-on experience.
Professional education matters. So does understanding how properties are built, maintained, changed, and used over time.

Casey Glomb
Owner & Certified Professional Inspector at Port City Home Inspections in Muskegon, Michigan.
MEET CASEY GLOMB
Trained, qualified and grounded in hands-on experience.
I bring 25 years of hands-on experience in the building trades and property management to every inspection. As a Licensed Builder in the State of Michigan and an InterNACHI Certified Professional Inspector, I have a practical understanding of how residential and commercial properties are built, maintained, repaired, and improved over time.
Throughout my career, I have worked alongside professionals from nearly every building trade, including carpenters, electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, painters, roofers, and flooring specialists. That experience has helped me develop a trained eye and a detail-oriented approach that allows me to identify concerns that might otherwise be overlooked.
I believe a quality inspection should provide you with more than a checklist. I carefully evaluate the property, clearly document my findings, and explain everything in straightforward language. My goal is to help you understand the property’s condition, recognize the most important concerns, and confidently make an informed decision.
Honesty, integrity, thoroughness, and personal service are at the heart of my work. I approach every inspection as if I were evaluating the property for my own family. When you hire me, you can expect my full attention, open communication, honest answers, and the time needed to make sure your questions are addressed.
